**RARE** Maple the Bear - 1999 McDonald's TY Beanie Baby with Tag & Date Errors
Maple the Bear is a rare, retired Teenie Beanie Baby featuring notable tag errors. The box claims his birthday is July 1, 1996, but the tag says “1993.” He was made in Oak Brook, Illinois, but the tag reads “OakBrook.” Introduced on January 1, 1997, the box incorrectly states February 27, 1997.
This is the only Maple bear sold in the U.S., exclusively for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Only 4,000 were manufactured, and this one has never been taken out of its box. There are two small flaps on the back of the box; I opened one strictly to take a photo of the tush tag. The item is in brand-new condition, with minor bending on the plastic cover.
